is not only discredited but effectively penalised as far as window square footage
Skilled Daylighting= large energysavings
Cal-HERS Raters/Micropass and Energy Pro have no concept, appreciation or allowance for light shelves, solar lighting, superinsulation, zero ducting, triple/quadruple etc. pane windows
or any unorthodox systems
Less obvious carbon footprint reductions go unnoticed and unrewarded.
How do we design a way to get these unusual measures aknowledged and credited to allow progress in sustainability
