I've observed a groundswell of thought and activity centered around making this city a better place to live. Sacramento appears to be taking on an identity as a green city. Yes, there's conflicts of interest. Yes, there's policies that need major tweaking. Yes, there's some hypocrisy and blatant neglect. Change doesn't happen over-night. But more importantly, I'm tuning into an uprising of agreement and creativity based on the premise that we aren't going to stand by and watch this city self-destruct. A switch has been flipped and cynicism, apathy and carelessness have been tossed aside. Everyday people are adopting a stance of dignity and hope and optimism that change can happen, that small efforts pay off, that individual choices add up and that we can all do something to make a difference. Recently, we've figured out that you can distill this revolution down to three very simple but powerful concepts. This seems like a good place to share them: Dream Big. Live Small. Do Good.
